March 28 was indeed a sad day for me as I told Uncle Bill farewell in this life and only hours later his and my close friend, Rusty. I do very much appreciate all the hard work Karda, Howard,Jake and forumites done to continue the Forum sprit Uncle Bill and Rusty entrusted to all of us. Please give a special thought to Uncle Bill and Rusty this day that they might know they have not been forgotten and we are continue to carry on what Uncle Bill started. Thank you all for your continue supports to HI and Kamis.

Peaceful and thoughtful wishes for uncle Bill and Rusty. May their spirits continue to guide us in conducting this forum in their memory.

May HI be prosperous and continue in their name.

Peace be with you and your family Aunti Yangdu. Its an Honor to be part of what he left for us in this life! Never forgotten. Thank you and all for carrying on his legacy.

I find comfort in the fact that despite never being fortunate enough to meet Uncle Bill or Rusty in person, I was blessed to meet Auntie.
Uncle Bill created a long lasting legacy not only in business but in influencing so many people to treat others kindly and with compassion.

I also truly believe they are waiting on the other side in a happy and wonderful place and one day I and all of us will have plenty of time to catch up.

Warm thoughts for Uncle, Rusty and all of their family.

long live HI and its spirit, in the name of Uncle bill and Rusty!-- thanks for sharing a moment with us auntie

Unfortunately I never met either of them, but I've read enough of their old posts that I almost feel like I do. They left a wonderful legacy.

I often think of Uncle and Rusty throughout the year, today is no different. Just a bit more close in mindfulness perhaps.
I think both Uncle and Rusty would be pleased that their legacy lives on as it has and the original mission statement of HI hasn't changed, despite the changes all around us.

It's distinctly my pleasure to know Auntie Yangdu and all of the fine folks here as friends. We do this together.

Uncle Bill and Rusty did more to shape my young adult life than family members who had had the chance during my first 2 decades on this earth. I owe these gentleman a debt that can never truly be repaid. Quite simply, I am who I am today because of Uncle Bill and Rusty as well as many of our forum friends, both still with us and those who have walked west.

Today, I am carrying a back up to a back up self defense weapon due to the wisdom of Rusty and his slight but tenacious frame. I toast a glass of beer from the green bottle in memory of Uncle Bill and and all the lessons he inadvertently taught me. Good stuff and thanks.

An Anniversary Date. Not the kind I am comfortable with, but remembering those who went before is one of the sublime things we can do in our lives. Mrs. Martino is blessed to have had such a deep thinking companion. Uncle Bill has not gone, the wheel has merely turned. He is like the Buddhist saying: "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.” I am one of those candles. So are you.

As I think on my time since I have found this incredible corner of the internet. I realize that the "personality" of this site is inspired but many people some of whom are no longer here. Some have passed over, some just no longer able to stop by. But, I am sure from what I have read of Uncle Bill and Rusty their spirits are still guiding the way people here interact. I am happy to be a very small part in this community supporting Auntie and others keeping Uncle Bill's Dharma work going.
