A Buddy of mine needs to get a Kydex sheath made up for his BUCK NightHawk. He want's the sheath to be good quality at a fair price, a quick turn around time is important and he is hesitant to ship his knife out to the maker....but Im sure he would if the Turn around was reasonable. If you guys know anyone who fits this bill give me a holler!

Mike Sastre (River City Sheaths) .Mike offers different tensions for his sheaths - you have to see some of his work to appreciate his skill level/quality. His e-mail is VideoSAS@aol.com

He absolutely does fantastic work. At great prices too.

Help me out on this guys...

The sheath that comes with the Busse Basic series is outstanding but who does it? If I recall it's someone in Arizona???

Also, Blade-Tech.com is outstanding.

You almost always need to ship the knife due to every Kydex Sheath is a custom fit.

Newt Livesay might be able to get ya one quick. You might need to get some kydex and make your own if you need it super fast.

You might want to look into a kydex sheath
made by FRANK SIGMAN. His "EDGE GUARD" tactical carry systems are outstanding. He has been making the sheaths for my brother and I for about six years now. I have yet to
wait more than 3 weeks to get the knives and sheaths back, and I usually send him quite a few blades. Plus, FRANK is one super individual to deal with. He is also open to new ideas. I can e-mail you his phone number
if you like.

I'll second the recommendation for Mike Sastre & River City Sheaths. If you do a search by my user name over the last month or so, you should find pics of a couple of the custom sheaths he did for me. Absolutely top quality craftsmanship.

Yep, I'm ready to make sheaths again. I've been doing a few here and there, but it's been hectic and my turnaround time has really sucked (for what I'm used to putting out). I have finals in a couple weeks, too, so it's never-ending. Next trimester (Starts first week of November) is almost all clinical work, so I will have a lot more open time for sheaths. I am currently taking orders, too, now, though!

The Busse sheaths, at least the one that came with the #9 here, are made by High Desert Holsters http://www.highdesertholsters.com/ .

I will vouch for CHIRO75. He made a kydex sheath for my Spydy Moran. Very good quality.
Honest and kept me informed almost on a daily basis on my order.

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??
