in need of cleaning

just won this and got it at a rather decent price. the photos show a totally white handle but having seen this before i figured all it needed was a good cleaning to bring forth the original color. will post the progress. it has a very sturdy ring on the end which i was informed the 225H meant hole. did these come with a ring?

Pretty sure they didn't come with a ring. I have one that is factory fresh in the tube and it didn't have a ring.

I have never seen these with a ring.

The "white" looks like the delrin has been bleached out by sunlight. I have had a few of these. Sometimes a mineral oil soak helps the color a bit.
