I got home today from fishing a little ticked off over thrashing my SARsquatch, but I had a package delivered today.

I was surprised to see how thick it was... I like it for it's intended task, i'm hard on EDC blades not meant towards woodcraft. Definitely a very stout blade.

The edge wasn't amazing, and it had a little wire edge near the choil, it was a little dull (still sharp by normal standards) at the tip. It was definitely a good working edge though, and would shave paper just fine, except getting snagged near the bur. No big deal at all, I really don't care about the stock edge. This one is getting a pretty robust convex edge anyway, not going to thin it.

I REALLY like how the knife handles though, fits me perfectly. I would prefer a smaller choil since the one on the knife is useless, but I still like a tiny sharpening choil. Overall, it's going to make a great EDC blade.

Also arriving today were the pants steelnut sent out, great little sheath! Good retention, liked the thicker black backing with the OD kydex front. A great value.

Big thumbs up for the knife!

That's great news 230, its nice to come home and have a new busse there waiting for you. That'll brighten up anybodys day congrats.

Very nice:thumbup:
I was not sure I would like the Boss St., but the WOW is there when you get it in your hand
:D

Nice blade 230. I am sure you will like it. I'd love to get one for myself I guess I am still hoping for a skinny version or a satin version.

Have you gotten a chance to use it yet? :D

Guess you won't be stripping this one then. :)

I used it a little as i've been carrying it since I got it, nothing to really test it yet though. Just some cardboard, clamshell and a zip tie or two. When I go to work it'll be tested quite a bit though.

Sounds good, I am sure it will be awesome. :D

I am thinking about making a user video of it myself, not too sure on the content though as it's not a big chopper or even a mid size blade. I mean opening letters and stuff like that would be boring.

Something outside would be cool though. :)

I do have some boxes to cut up. but I dunno if that would be worth it.

Make fuzz sticks, baton smaller wood etc... Chop using a baton. So far it's done ok on cardboard for me with the stock edge, not great. I'm going to leave the angle the same and convex it and polish it. Not going to thin it any.

I am leaving mine alone too. :D

Yeah, those sound like good ideas to me, thanks.

Have to get my thoughts together and see what I can come up with, it has to be pretty short, under 5 mins as my Nikon D90 DSLR stops recording video at 5 mins. Something about it would be classified as a video camera if it records more than a 5 min video.

I am uploading a short Tank Buster video now, outside, it's pretty cool. :D

Make sure to post the links when you're done.

The TB video is almost done uploading.

I will make a thread with links when it's up. :D

You guys need to Subscribe to my channel you know. ;) :D

Made a Boss Street Field test video with 230's recommendations. :D

Will be up sometime after 5pm today, taking like 3 hours to upload.
