How do all of you with a micarta Sebenza feel about your knife? I'd like to thank Chris and company for making available a Sebenza to those like me who appreciate the extra purchase afforded the micarta when wet when we are fishing. The micarta Sebenza, like the plain Sebenza, is a wonderful EDC working tool. I also like the beauty of the appearance of the micarta models. It is a wonderful companion to and so beautifully compliments the plain models. An extraordinary cutter that feels so comfortable in the hand.

I don't have a plain model to compare the grip to, but I can easily say that my large micarta is the most comfortable knife I own. I absolutely cannot find a grip that is not perfectly comfortable and very secure. Regular grip - my finger goes in the well placed semi-circular cut out. Reverse grip (edge facing me) - my little finger goes in the same cut out. Reverse grip with the edge facing away - the meat of my palm fills in the big finger choil and the smaller choil. Saber grip, anything, you name it. This knife is just damn comfortable in my hands.

I also love the look of micarta, especially just after a bath. Very grey with the little squiggly lines. It looks very classy. The micarta along with the titanium, polished screws, and silver thumbstud go very well with grey shorts or pants. A very nice looking knife that you shouldn't be afraid to use. Two thumbs up, my first Chris Reeve, and my favorite knife.

Do you have a large or small? Put it in your profile as your favorite knife -- we can start a club :D

I’ve had my large micarta for almost a year, and my small micarta should arrive tomorrow.

If not for the micarta Sebenza I would not have bought a Sebenza.

The grippiness and appearance of the micarta was just what I wanted in a Sebenza, and I’m very happy that CRK came out with such a functional and aesthetically pleasing model.

Me 2, my 1st Sebenza is a micarta. Thanks to all the nice patient folks at Plaza Cutlery and this board who recommended this as my first seb.

I love this knife quite a bit as an EDC

I should really start EDC'ing mine but I just can't seem to put my large classic away.

Well, my small micarta arrived yesterday, and all is good in the world of my EDC rotation: large one week, and small the next.

its the way to go.the micarta inserts help buffer the knife in your pocket, keeping the wear on the bead blast titanium finish down.mine is the classic with double studs.its perfectly made, like it a lot,but i still dont know if it was worth 425.00........

You guys are killing me, I'm looking at getting the small micarta Seb for my EDC within the next month. PICS???????????????

I'll be taking some photos of my large Micarta, probably tomorrow. Any specific requests?

Sheesh! No, please, no more photos - if my heart beats any faster it might start fibrillating.

I guess I now know what my next knife will be: The Micarta model, of course.

Those are some great pictures Kckc. I don't blame you for rubbing it in.

To give my micarta large Classic a little color, I've replaced the silver backspacer with the standard blue backspacer from CRK. I wish I could replace the silver thumblug with a blue one. Just my preference.:)

i wanted a large Classic first, but my next will almost certainly be a small Micarta, i didn't like the large Micarta as much

I'm sure if you really wanted to, you could send it back to CRK and get the silver replaced with a blue thumb stud.

I personally think the silver accents go great with the micarta, but to each his own. :)

I think if you send it in to CRK they can make that change for you. I agree with you BTW, I like the look of the blue thumblug and spacer, thought about making that switch myself.
