Got a chance to take Mulder's SHBA Ducci passaround blade on a short Jeep ride over the weekend...and I have to say...this thing is SWEET!

I really, really love the SHBA. It does all tasks well, from kitchen prep to camp prep, and does them with elegance and style!

With regard to the absolutely stunning slabs on this custom, I did find them just a tad bulky for my little lady hands, but they make up for it by being a perfect compliment to the classic, old school lines of the infi Badger. I really think you only need two Busse knives to do anything you want, from slicing a tomato to slicing a zombie...so this last pic shows the SHBA with Baby, my SHSH II.

Pretty nice couple, don't you think?

A big thank you to Dave, for allowing me to play with his SHBA, and to the other, yet unnamed Hog who made my very first SHSH possible! You guys both rock, and really demonstrate what being a Hog is all about!

Fantastic AAR, Robin...but WHEN DID YOU GET AN SHSHII????!!!

You deserve it, love. That is a great combination.

I am working toward the same combo, but am having to settle for an HHFSH for now. Maybe I should have held out on the #less ABALE for a BBSHSH.:rolleyes:

I just got my SHSHII, and I love it! It is perfect for me, both in size and weight. I haven't used it yet, as I was playing with the SHBA.

And this SHBA, brothers and sisters, is probably the nicest one I have ever handled!

I've been trying out different Busses for awhile now, looking for the "Grails," the ones I will not part with, the ones that get my use. Don't give up looking for your perfect blades, my friend, and thank you for the warm comments!

Excellent knives, but at about .25, they are are a little too fat for me-at 4.5 blade length. I prefer the BAIII & anorexic badgers. When you have a big chopper like the BM, then .25 makes sense, but i like my short knives thinner.

Robin,

Glad to hear you like the SHBA.
I'm sure you will like the next one even better. :foot:
Thanks for the write up.

Nice Trio - I like the Jeep too:thumbup:

Thanks, guys! I love my Jeep, too. It is the bomb here in AZ...lots of places to go and things to see! :D And, of course, numerous opportunities to play with my infi!

Hey Robin,
Nice knives, nice Jeep and I love AZ!!!!!! I tried to post last night but the server was having trouble. Congrats on being able to play with some of the best!
