I'm in the Greenville, SC area and wonder if anyone knows if any dealers in the vicinity have any Sebenzas that I could see and possibly FONDLE!?!? :-)

I'm not aware of any CRK dealers in the Upstate. I ordered both of mine direct from CRK. The best local selection of knives (benchmade, Spyderco, etc) would be Grady's over in Anderson.

The only Sebbies I've seen in N.C. or S.C. that would be close to Greenvile would be at some of the gun and knife shows. The show at Charlotte will usually have several. You just have to locate this particular knife booth that has this great big guy behind the counter:eek: He'll let you fondle their Sebbies:cool: :D Actually it is L&W Tactical, and they show at most of the C&E Gun and Knife Shows. Great bunch of guys! Otherwise you will have to drive to Cary N.C. ( near Raleigh ) and go to Becks Cutlery.

Hey, let us know if you do find some closer!:)

After I posted I received an e-mail answer from CRK as to local dealers in the Upstate. It turns out there are two CRK dealers in SC; one in Awendaw, Bobby Branton of Branton Knives (843-928-3624) and one closer to me in Traveler's Rest, Ron Stepp (864-834-2015).

As to the best selection of knives in the Upstate, I used to agree that Grady's was it but I recently discovered Odom Ace Hardware located at 1089 Asheville Highway in Spartanburg, SC (864-573-8857). The selection is larger and they discount in the neighborhood of 20%.
I purchased an MT LCC for $214.00 there; I admit they got me on that one as I've seen the same knife for $149.00 on the net. However, I also got a SOG PEII for $81.00.

I have dealt with Ron Stepp in the past, And he is a Great person to deal with. I saw him at one of the Greenville shows this past Fall. He had a good selection of CRK's. A few years back, I met him for the first time at a show, And he told me he had a sheath for a Randall knife that I needed. He didn't have it at the show with him, So he took my address and said he would send it to me. If I liked it ,I could send him the money, If I didn't like it, just send the sheath back. Now thats trusting a customer.I didn't really expect the sheath to arrive, But it showed up just like he said he would do. You can't do any better than Ron .

I was at the same show last fall, and believe I know who you are talking about. If so, he did have a nice selection of CRK's, and other customs. I just might have to give him a call ;) ;) ;)
