To celebrate his 25th Anniversary as a custom Integral-knife maker,
Edmund Davidson is creating one matching set of three Full Integrals.

All three knives will be engraved using the same basic pattern
and will have a special etch/maker's mark to celebrate the event.
The handles will be ancient ivory.

Here is what the CPM-154-CM steel set looks like, before being engraved.

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Excellent! I look forward to seeing these completed. They will certainly make for a very special set.

I agree with you, Roger. I think that these three, fully engraved
with clean, light cream ivory handle slabs and a special commemorative
maker's name-etch will be a spectacular set... The first of its kind Edmund
ever decided to make - and he will be finishing his 3,100th integral later
this year!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Here is the special maker's mark celebrating the event
that will be etched on the blades of all three knives.

Edmund recently informed me that engraving the three Integrals
will soon be done and they will be on their way to heat treating
by the end of August...

I hope to have them photographed as a finished set to display here
by the end of coming September!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

The finished 25th Anniversary set was beyond expectations!
See for yourselves...

What do you think?

All the best,

Very impressive! Hats off to Edmund on a spectacular set. Given the extensive engraving, creamy-white ivory was the best choice here for handle material.

Roger

For all those who asked: the set is not for sale... :)
Edmund will not be using his 25th Anniversary mark on
any other knife he is making this year.

And yes, all three knives were engraved by Jere Davidson using
the same design pattern, making it a true set.

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

it might sound weird, but I'm sure you'll understand when I say I have an urge to hold one. These integrals must have a tactile quality unlike knives made in a more traditional way

Edmund's a true artist and a all around great guy!
He and Steve Johnson are up to something again, and it's going to be a beauty as are these three.

I'm sure, Lorien, that you will get that chance someday soon
and will not be disappointed at all...

All the best,

Yes, Kevin, you heard correctly! Edmund cooked up a new benefit collaboration
and nobody could resist his charm...

It is one of his Knifemakers Guild Benefit Projects.

He got Steve Johnson to put the handles on and finish the knife,
Barry Lee Hands to do the engraving and Paul Long to do the sheath...,
The Knife will be auctioned at the next Knifmakers Guild Show.

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Here is the knife, ready to ship to Steve Johnson, after Edmund finished
his part in the collaboration.
