So I'm looking for a new knife. But I'm a little picky. I'm looking for an assisted open. With a blade no smaller than 3.5" and VG-10 or stronger. I've found a few that I like, but not that possesses all the qualities I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
 
The Benchmade 580 is a nice assisted knife with 154cm steel and a 3.6 inch blade. Could also splurge for the higher end 581 with m390 steel.
 
I'm impartial to the weight, as well as framelock or liner lock. And I'd prefer <$150
 
take a look at the ZT 0566cf. it fit my needs for that same set of criteria.
 
I bought a ZT0300 used for $150 and it has become my favorite edc. It has a S30V blade and it is a nice hefty knife. I would check the exchange before buying new as some of the knives are like new and quite a bit cheaper than new. There are some Kershaws in S30V that are also in and under that price range new.
