Hey guys , my girlfriend's fam got me an Amazon gift card . 100$ -110$ budget I'm looking at a new Benchmade. I have a mini grip with 440c and mini barrage. I do like the mini grip but it's a tanto with serrations (gift ) which I really don't care for. I'm not a huge fan of either knife. I'm willing to give Benchmade another try. I'm pretty set on my price range. I'm looking at the. Mini grip 555HG. Open to suggestions and idea. Pics help! Thanks guys

I'm not sure if this is on Amazon yet but what about the newly released Precinct?

If you are looking at a mini, might want to give the Benchmade H&K 14716 a try. The full size 14715 is awesome, too.

If you want slim and light check out a 530/531. Excellent edc knife. Both fall right into your price range.

Agreed. And the serrated Mini was recently selling at a real bargain price. Pretty small knife, however.

If you can stretch your budget to $140 or so, you will have a much wider selection of models.

That's a great suggestion. I didn't connect with the mini but it is an overbuilt knife that offers a ton of value!

If size vs weight is what you're looking for, I'd suggest the 531. You get so much blade is a compact/slim/lightweight package. Put a deep-pocket carry clip on it and you're all set.

Thanks for the advice guys. I may bump price range up. Now I'm looking into the 940s and 530s. ( the more I look on here the more things I want !)One last question what's the difference between the Ritter mini and the reg. Is it just the blade steel and the blade style ? Does BM. Still make the Ritter griptilian or was it just a special run.

Yes, the 558 blade shape is different (designed by Doug Ritter) and is a full flat grind (slicey) compared to the 551 or 556. It is also M390 (older variants were S30V). That knife is a knifeworks exclusive and has to be bought through them.

Lots of choices when you up your price range. My favorites are the various Axis Stryker models, the 710 McHenry & Williams and, for a small knife, the 707 Sequel or one of the Mini Axis Strykers.

The 943 might very well be the best every day pocket knife you can get your hands on.

There are larger, smaller, more $, and cheaper, but I doubt there is a combo as functional or elegant as the 943. It's the brother to the 940.
