I got my first job finally (Only 16). Now that i got some money saved up i can start buying more expensive knives and i am in the mood for a liner lock and narrowed it down to the military and the sage. Or reccomend some other Spyderco folders in that price range. Thanks!!

I like militaries...:)

Can't go wrong with Millies. I've got three, including one lefty and an oldie. Sure wish they would return to the old blade etching though. I hate that Planet Earth garbage.

Got to love the old etching! ;-)

you sure you won't consider titanium frame locks instead?

I want to get a titanium model. Do not know where now. They are a pre-order at Knife Center and out of stock at BladeHQ. Since they were basically a sprint run, they probably will not be available again.

I think the two knives are different in size, other than that they are both Kool.

I see a couple on the big auction site at a competitive price.

I don't do auctions, especially if you are talking about the bay. I live life without credit cards, and do not trust paypal as far as I can throw a stick.

But thanks none the less. Getting a Ti model is not a necessity, just a want. Want's do not always get fulfilled.

I am going to get in on the Cru Wear sprint run. Maybe I'll luck out and actually get one. ;-)

Sage and Military are two of my favorites. On a daily carry basis you will probably be more comfortable with the Sage. Whipping out the Military in a public place may raise some eyebrows. That being said I carry one of my Millies often, the orange has been there all this week.

Which is why I always have a Leatherman Charge TI on me. If someplace where a Millie might cause heart rates to skyrocket, I'll just use the Leatherman instead. Discretion is the better part of valor.

I usually carry a Military or a Para 2. I do carry a small traditional for use in sensitive places.

I love the Sage. Truly a fantastic knife, and such a great value. It has great ergos, a fantastic blade, rides nice and low in the pocket. You won't be disappointed.

Just built my grail out of two: Titanium and brown CTS XHP=

Can't recommend the Military enough. Personally I prefer the frame locks over the liner lock, but both are solid

Big Millie fan myself, have several as well as a few Para's. Yet to own a Para 2.

I find it's easier to operate the liner or frame lock than the compression on the PM2. May be just a learning curve. I am EDCing the SuperLeaf now which I love so maybe the compression lock will hopefully grow on me because it's a solid system.
