Man, I haven't posted in Spyderco in a long time. I think my very first post was in this subforum though.
I still carry a Spyderco often--a Caly 3 PE. Just an excellent knife from tip to butt. :thumbup:
Anyway, I'm posting up my latest Spyderco acquisitions, a couple of Aqua Salts. I'd been meaning to get one since handling the model at Blade '07 or '08... can't remember which.
A few weeks back, I saw something about them and thought, "I need to finally get one of those."
Imagine my embarassment when I realized that the knife was discontinued.
So I searched. The black SE was easy. The yellow PE? Not so much.
I went 25 pages deep into Google, sent numerous emails, and found a total of two in-stock vendors and five knives total.
I wound up having to wait out a postal strike in Canada to get mine, but it arrived today.
The black SE is going to be the greatest fishing/bait knife I've every owned. The PE has all sorts of potential. Glad I snagged 'em both.
