^ Thanks Farchyld! Enjoy the friction folder.

I see the squirrelhorse has moved, it is now looking at me! aggghhh! lol :D

omg- Daniel, and you guys, did you see that Mikkel Willumsen is now offering these funky handle colors?!

uh oh!

I recall someone getting told not to do polished tips, like its something patented... and many makers do poontips and polished tips.. way before they ever did... talk about ... nm

Daniel for the win, haters proved it.

edit: cryptic enough? yeah well, vague too? yup :)

I have not seen them, sounds cool!

I'd say most of us got the ideas from the various sites on the web about anodizing, some of those sites sell supplies too. I'm not sure who came up with the ideas but it was Snody and Atwood that inspired me to push my anodizing to a new level.

I think I'll stay away from that subject, lol. :D

I wouldn't want to make a knife that others identified as anther makers style... nor do I think any of us can come up with something completely new as it has all evolved down from others. I try to keep it unique or time tested and give respect when it is due.

I just found out that the Mayo "holes" were already done by Kit Carson. Fact and I say this with all due respect to all, well most, makers.

Good answer!

Were you a politician in your past life?? :D

I hear ya though, time tested is good. Unique flavors of time tested is better. Paying homage to the important foundations of custom knife making, good too! :)

I stole bubbles cat for my car... damn squirrels :D

Yeah but were the holes round? :D

lmao!

Watch those squirrels!

All kidding aside I respect other makers as we all make knives and I know what they have gone through to get where they are. I'll keep striving to be the best!
