I guess so! Is this a POS or what? Someone has one for sale and wants $40.00 bucks for it. So I'm still waiting on feedback.

Well, if you've ever flipped a BM, then its a POS. I have the non-dama version and its not one of the better pieces I've flipped. The worst bear IMO.

Oh yeah, that knife can be found on the net for that same price anyways...

I won't do it in 2 words...but I have a 42 and some others, I'd probably get one (black handles, plain clipped blade) just to use as a working knife. After all, they are meant for cutting and utility too!

Two words huh............

Ummmmmmmm.......... "broken handles".

At least thats what comes to mind when I think of BEAR Balisongs. I've yet to have one last 2 months.

Well sometimes they don't count little words like be. So, I'll quote a friend of mine:

Thats what I needed to know. I knew if they were not that good, yall would show no mercy.

Thanks!

I had one that was a serious POS. It didn't even come close to the right blade specs to make it work properly. To thin and to narrow. So it wobbled around and wouldn't latch at all. i paid $19.95 for it out of SMKW. The bad news is Bear has NO quality control at all. They can put out a good product you just need to inspect them first. The good news is there warranty department seems pretty good. In fact that bali I sent off last week to be replaced. I've handled one of these that just rocked, smooth action, latch always worked but I think that is the exception not the norm. You need to do the same thing that I need too which is get off our butts and buy a Benchmade.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Pattern welded....
(which is what Damascus really is)

I had the tanto chiseledged one and it had pretty good steel in it, but the handles really really sucked, so off she went!
