My local knife store is holding a low single digit S/N Minos for me. I am planning on getting it any day, but at $306 inc s/t, it's a bundle. I have a credit there - but still, itll be over $200 out of pocket - a lot this soon after Christmas. How do you owners feel now about your Minos - after some carry and use? This one has an even grind, smooth open/close, 40% lockbar engagement, and centered blade - as perfect as you would expect. Certainly a lot finer example of Boker's workmanship than some of my big buck examples of their work. Any complaints or observations are more than welcome!

I would say it's not worth it. Blade HQ has one for 250 dollars. But, you could get a ZT 05X, Spyderco Southard, Bradley Alias, etc...for less than 300. Also you would be getting a better steel then what's on the boker. I'm sure the boker is nice, but there is a lot of competition at this price point.

I love my Minos, its in my pocket right now.Nice thick chunk of Ti, very smooth, centered blade and no sticky lockbar. The design is very cool and I love the Techno pattern, definitely a unique prodo knife for sure.I've been carrying and using it for a couple weeks now and have had no issues, in fact its broken in very nicely.

I did get mine on the forum though for $200, but I would of gladly paid $250-75 for it.

I couldn't rationalize the expense for the Minos now and the store no longer offers price matching anyway, so I let s/n 2 go back in the case for sale. Another customer's remark of what a neat way to recycle an old stair tread didn't help.

Duro, not a one of my best Kershaw/ZT knives, seen below, cost as much as that Minos, either - and I bought the top three from the same store, even. I still have them!

I think I was enamored with the thought of having s/n 2 of a knife run... silly reason to buy a knife. Hmmm, when has that stopped me before?

I guess that knife didn't truly float your boat. It sure seemed to weigh a ton for being so small...You have some quality knives there. It seems like its a chunk of titanium, but a small thick blade, that weighs a lot. Lionsteel has that tispine for about 350 dollars. It's only 3.5 ounces. Still a chunk of change.
