  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Got in yesterday, the flight was full of SHOT Show people......Harrah's has an excellent oyster bar where I got lunch and then spent the afternoon finishing the new WEB Griffin before having a really fine meal at the local Morton's....Drank a bunch of water and a little teeny bit of wine.....No hydration problems THIS trip!!!!!!....

Gonna meet Jeff Randall and Mike, and Gordon Perrin for lunch......Really anticipating a GOOD show.....Business promises to be exciting and I am looking forward to seeing a bunch of old friends and finding some new ones......

I am gonna try to use this apple dingy to give updates every day......It will depend on the degree of brain deadness I have at the end of the day.....Although I expect the Moose will be prodding the sxxt outta me......Moose will be arriving on Monday......Looking forward to that and also seeing his reaction to his first SHOT Show.......If you are a knife and gun person your first one is freaking AWESOME.....It can put you in a daze for days.....

More latter....

All Best...

Ethan

Put some money on the Packers!

I can't wait to see the news out of SHOT this year.

shot show is so big from the stories of legends, even a strong healthy feller needs some of those segways or sit down mini-scooters to not DIE from the miles of walking... it makes Blade look like a yard sale :>

would love to go. heard my favorite vendor pulled out, so, feh, good i didn't go this year. Blade will have all the new knives i want to see, i expect, and there are few guns i am interested in this year, that i know of :>

If you want a fantastic steak and the best salad stop at Boa steakhouse at ceaser's........awesome , it's not quite in-and-out burger but it will do ;)

Hey All.....

In & Out is gonna have to wait.........Boa's sounds the better bet........The one thing in short supply in Vegas is quiet and comfortable.....

Tooj and Steve Johnson arrived and we met up with the Perrins and Randall for lunch and then we headed over to the convention Hall where we found our booth space literally buried in other people's crap........Gonna make a long day tomorrow........The auguries remain good.........Got a chance to say hi to John and Gretchen Carver who made the Eagle Industry sheaths.......Also the Becker Patrol Pack.......When John owned that company the products were literally incomparable.......Really, really GOOD stuff........I have bags made by him that just will NOT die and I have drug my crap around in them from fishing boats in Alaska to the pampas of Argentina and the damn things are thirty years old and still look new.......Quality......Quality people too.....Unfortunately I got to say a quick hello to Too Tall Gary who owns Al Mar and another bud from way back and he ever so graciously gifted me a packet of cock flavored dry soup mix and yes it has a chicken on the front.......He had a bag full of 'em.....hehehe.......Good day.....

Hopefully more on the morrow......

All Best....

Just like mom used to make...:D

If you have the time and inclination, you MUST try a bone-in rib eye with the bernaise sauce at Prime in the Bellagio!! The truffle mashed potatoes are good but the onion rings are great! A very quiet AND comfortable, French style steakhouse.
