Not as in a case necessarily, but where on you?

I have an IBM workpad in a hard case and it rides in my breast pocket sometimes, but 1) it falls out alot when I bend over and 2)I often wear polo shirts sans breast pocket.

I carry it in my left front pants pocket sometimes but that can be awkward (except in my pants from Structure that have deep pockets -- unlike me

Seriously, the pockets go almost 2/3 way to the knee)

Maybe I need a belt pouch to plunge me further into geekdom. IF so do you recommend any? I have a Palm one, but it doesn't fit my PDA unless I remove the hard case.

Thanks, guys,
Clay

I already carry a medium-to-large belt pouch on my left side. My Palm fits nicely into the front side of it's large pocket and access is quick.

The coolest Palm rig I've seen is a leather shoulder holster that a friend found for me in England. I don't wear it too often, but sometimes it is perfect, such as when I'm wearing a suit.

I carry my Palm IIIx in a Rhino Ti case. Keeps them pesky screens intact.

I carry my Palm Vx in a Rhinoskin Ti Molded Case in my front left pants pocket. It's small enough that I can carry it any of my pants or shorts.

For me, the PDA is only half the story, I also carry my cell phone, and the 4" cable that lets me attach the two to surf the web for nudie pics wirelessly

You saw my problems with this in the previous string I started. At work, it all goes in my leather notebook, which has a big pocket that accomodates cell phone, PDA, and stowaway. In shorts, I dump it all into a fanny pack. When it's cool out, everything goes into my jacket pocket. I still have no great solution for the current weather, where I'm walking around in jeans or dockers and no jacket. I've been dumping the whole mess into my Liberty pouch, but am considering getting a Daytimer-type small binder to hold it all instead.

I don't actually have one, but I saw a guy on the subway with one carrying two cel phones and a PDA. I did a double take since I actually thought I was seeing a holstered pistol with extra mags on the opposite side! Pretty cool rig though. Modular too.

At work, I don't like to carry anything with me that doesn't fit on me somewhere. Most of my fellow techs just come back t get a screwdriver, but I just use my Pulse or Cybertool. I am not sure if I am efficient or lazy.

I also leave things if I set them down, so I make myself return my knife to my pocket rather than setting it down, lest I forget it. Anyways, so maybe one of those E-pouches is the answer. Though I already have alot on my belt -- I guess I am just destined to look like Jimmy Fallon in the "Your Company's Computer Guy" sketch from Saturday Night Live!
