This 1 hr. tape deals with knife to knife and links with each tape in the Inayan escrima series.

Similar in format, a two man drill tape with narration and sections. A strong emphasis on elbow control and punching with the empty hand is prevalent on this tape. Each drill eventually progress into a chained free flow.

Palasut (passing) drills and newer varations are what this tape adds to the series. The Inayan series gives plenty of two man drills and could also double as a skill workout tape series. Medio to corto range is emphasized a lot.

More complex (about 5) seko and hubud type drills are on this tape as well and various end techniques. Generally pretty challenging for chi sao and hubud folk as elbow hits and backfists are chained pretty well and large 'windmill' strikes/motions are included so every hand tool and both inside and outside ranges are worked. Frankly, the most complex hubud sequences I've seen on a tape.

You get another lockflow drill but a bit more complex than in the Kadena tape in that knees strikes are part of the escaping techniques. The lockflow series is similar to the way Lop Sao Wing Chun drills start ex. Deal with a punch and go into technique.

A free flow chaining drill follows, a combo of two drills. You start knife to knife then chain into disarms then go into empty hand and chain into the various drills ending with the lockflow drills. The lockflow drills with some modification could be of use to the LEO crowd but this will take some thought due to issues of carry gear and weapon retention.

Intermediate folk who train A LOT and Instructors who want to add a twist to class will benefit from this. It's a must for hubud maniacs who want a newer challenge.

Before I forget, here is the new Inayan Escrima URL http://www.inayan.com
