Just got the call from knifeart. My left hand large Insingo is homebound. Cool. Will I like it better than my classic Micarta? Time will tell.

Hard to tell if you'll like it better...if you were me you will though, not even close in my book. When the exclusive runs out in 2011 with knife art, I'd like to send my classic to the spa and get them to put one on it too!

The Insingo is just a cool looking blade, congrats. Damn, I really got to stop hanging out here. I keep adding to my lists of oh yea, I need that too!

Thanks! I think I will like it too. I had to go away for the weekend and I will pick up my Insingo Monday at the post office. It will be my first 21 style and it will be good to get back to basics. A sipmle knife in the tradition of CRK with a different and useful blade. I'm excited!

Both blade styles are useful in different ways, tho I noticed it more with the small versions. I can't keep my Insaneo out of my pocket, before or after alteration. My fave...

Yeah Mr Juiceman I always come back to my large micarta seb. But we'ii see, I should be picking up the knife sometime today!:thumbup::p:cool:

Just got back from the post office, picked up my new large left hand insingo. First impressions are positive. A little harder to start to open than my micarta inlay but I've EDCing that for 5 years and the difference is no big deal. Blade very sharp and I like the shape. Lockup at 50-75% which causes me no concern whatsoever. Very nice to be back to basics. The grip is thinner than my micarta but the blasted ti scales offer decent purchase. Haven't cut anything yet with it but will prepare diinner with it tonight. Blade is very sharp. I find it very easy to open. I've had sebs for over ten years so iI know what to expect. Have no desire to take it apart yet, it functions as I would expect from any CRK product. This baby will be in my pocket for a real good test ride and I will update my impressions. Only possible downside, I hope the swedge doesn't tear up my pockets like my umnum did. But I really think the double thumblug and textured scales of the umnum are the culprit that keeps that badboy in the safe. This ones a user and so far I think its a nice change!:cool::p:D;)

Got to be a large and a small Insingo

Just this evening I had a pretty tough conversation with the kids about which one of them I am going to have to sell to fund the Insingos. They were very mature and understanding about it. Brought a tear to my eye. Done a good job raising them, I think
