Just recieved my new EDC flashlight. I ordered it from Batteryjunction.com Tues.

I lost my Fenix L1p a few weeks ago and have been looking for something to replace it.

I was going to get the L1Tv2.0, but when I called the Fenix store they were out.
I had also considered the Nitecore Defender, but same situation as the Fenix, none were available.

So when I saw a review of the IncenDio, on Candlepower forums, I ordered one right away.

Here's a comparison pic.

And in hand.

The IncenDio has three levels.130 lumens-130minutes, 40 lumens-9hrs, and 7lumens-35hrs. This info off the BJ website.
It also has a forward clicky switch.
The light also remembers the last setting.

This is all for now. I'm really not much of a flashaholic and I don't pretend to be one:).Patrick

That's the review I read before I ordered mine except it was at Candlepower forums and his "handle" is Ensenada.

If the light is on, let's say on high, you have to click the light off, and then half click to change levels.

It's not really a tactical light. If your light is off, and let's say the last time it was on, was high and you half press less than 2 seconds you will get the high but the next press, either half or full click, will be the middle level.

I hope I made sence, if not, the reviews and follow up questions at the Candlepower forums are much more detailed.Patrick

thx guys. spinner, i would be interested to know how you like it after carrying it for a while.

i was able to get the l1t and nitecore, but im always looking for my next edc light.

I carried it last night at work, which was the main reason for getting the light.

I had been carrying a Fenix L1p for over a year so that is what I am roughly comparing the IncenDio to.

The best thing about this light is that it is very compact and light, I really didn't notice it in my pocket {I didn't use the clip}.

I also like that the battery life should be very good. The L1p I used to carry was said to be good for a little over an hour at 45 lumens, while the Incendio is supposed to be good for 9 hours at 40 lumens, even if it doesn't reach the full 9 hours there seems to be a really big improvement.

The worst thing about the light is that the mode will change if you flash the light on for less than 2 full seconds.

And one other thing I noticed is that the switch is a little difficult to depress with the thumb compared to the Fenix, of course this also makes it unlikely to turn on in your pocket.

And the last thing, kind of personal preference really, is it would be nice if the clip was at the bezel end, so it could be clipped to the bill of a hat, for hands free use.

The people at work thought it was pretty cool, and it looks like some might be ordering there own Incendio.Patrick
