I ran a test which I have not shared before where I took three apps loaded onto an iPod touch fourth-generation running iOS 6.X with two benchmades sharpened on a KME. I was stunned to find out that both 2 dollar apps, Angle Meter PRO By nakhon phagdeechat, and iGradient By Ivan Perre 1.99 were less accurate, consistently by 3 or so degrees, than the free iHandy Level 1.1.5 - : iHandy Inc with the above setup.
Ron at KME, while demonstrating his KME stone thickness compensator (which I am buying to easily use DME EE fine stone), reports 6:08 in of the 9:09 video that they love the free Spirit Level Gold By Tue Nguyen Minh on their iPhone:

Sorry OP we don't have any iPhones, a couple old iPads and a couple of iPod touches: fourth and fifth Gen. none have cellular, so none have GPS, And of course all of them have gyroscopes thus the apps.

Either way it works. I appreciate the info and the help
