Well, after a bunch of great and informative responses to an earlier post, I ordered the HEST knife this morning. Now the seemingly interminal waiting begins. Can't wait for this beauty!
 
They say that good things come to those who wait. Well waiting sucks, but I don't really have much choice,do I? I guess I'll spend the time researching my next ESEE purchase.
 
Played that same game got the hest then 2 days later I went into the hospital and dint get to fondle it for 4 days. Not fun.

Wow, that sucked. Here's hoping that I don't have that same luck. Hopefully everything turned out well for you.

I hope your wait isn't TO long!!
I just received my Scrap Yard Regulator that I waited since April 7 to get. I will say that is was WELL WORTH the wait!!!
Good things DO come to those who wait!!;)
 
I find looking at knife porn threads help ease the tension... maybe... I picked up a Hibben MK IV machete factory second for ten bucks today. Stoked!
 
if you think waiting sucks try looking for knives you've misplaced. :rolleyes:

i've got a CRKT Desert Cruiser and two Newt Livsay neck knives that are missing. i think the ex GF might have snagged one or both of the neck knives... and then my Becker Brute is also AWOL... no clue how i misplaced that beast... but i think i finally remembered where it is. i've just gotta go dig for it, today.
 
Good choice on your first ESEE knife.. that was also my first ESEE knife. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't mess with it or use it.

I found my khukri under the cushions of my couch, of all places... must have fallen asleep cleaning it or something and woke up in a hurry...
