By the way, I noticed some of mine busse knives are thicker behind the edge at the tip than at the heel.
The primary bevel is not narrower at the tip, so it is not because the edge is ground back making it thick.
So the primary grind angle changes a bit at the belly, making the tip stronger while the most of the edge is of higher cutting ability?
