Anyone keeping track of Ashcroft's raising of the National threat level to Orange!

You guys waited until NOW? There's plenty of ammo in the house. No need to bring the other cases of ammo inside from the garage. Yet.
 
I don't wait till the need arises either. Most of my goodies are already in the house ready to go. My pack would be ready in about 5 minutes. :)
 
I don't think our guns and knives are going to help. The one I worry about is this: Saddam infects 50 suicidal agents with some deadly and dreaded disease and puts them on planes to all the major cities in the US. A couple of hundred folks on each plane are exposed. The disease spreads exponentially. That scenario could kill, cripple or at best make very sick millions of Americans and a knife or gun or anything I can think of is not going to present a defense against it.

As I mentioned this is going to be the toughest war we have ever gotten into because the enemy and his methods are very difficult to define and recognize.
 
Update: last post was just before lunch Asia time. By dinner time (and a rotation in Ghurka guards), the berets have been put on.
