Incredible Service From HI!

I know this happens very rarely, but I ended up with a (in my view) minor flaw in my CAK. There was a small crack developing at the bolster, and all I wanted was to know if it was going to become a problem, if there was a fix, or whatever. I took a picture and sent it to Karda, and Auntie, who both advised me to send it in for replacement, even though the flaw would not affect the performance of the knife in the long run, and over my repeated desire to keep the khukuri. Reluctantly, I sent it in, and this is what showed up a few days later:

It comes in at 16.5" overall, 2lbs, 1/2" spine and horn handle, as well as some of the most finely carved kami marks I've seen in my limited experience. In every way, it surpasses the one I sent in. If someone can identify the maker, I'd be grateful. Bottom line is, and I'm sure everyone here knows already, HI really takes care of their customers, far above and beyond! I know it doesn't happen very often, but if it does, they have your back big time!
 
The bull's head kami mark belongs to Purna. He's new to HI, but very experienced and one of the best. HI had a contest among the kamis a few months ago and Purna won first prize with a museum-quality knife that now belongs to ndoghouse.

There is two Kamis named Purna, the bullhead kami is Purna, and the other is Purna Sankher, I do not remember his mark though.

As David stated, Purna is one highly skilled kami, and his blades are top-notch.

Yes, HI and auntie really do have the BEST customer service I have ever witnessed, and if other companies had the business morals and ethics of HI, this world would be a better place indeed.
 
Excellent service indeed! Though, I think you should change the title to "Average Service from HI" :)
 
That's an angry looking bull! Purna is one of my favorite Kamis, his Dui Chirra is probably my most prized Khukuri from HI.

I see it now! I have two other Purna's, and the bull is distinctly more bovine in appearance. I thought this looked more like either the Devil, or Batman. Gotta love the smirk on his face!
 
Probably one of the most complicated kami marks ever. But very unique.
 
I have a Purna Chainpuri, and it is my favorite kukri. The only kukri I own that comes close is my Thamar Yek Chirra. He is something special. And the service at HI is something amazing, and the sense of community is up there with it. This may be the only community where someone gets a freebie for being a loyal customer, and then decides to gift it to someone else who considered buying one as a reward for making it through some kind of difficult times. I need to get out my philllll IBBB and give it some love.
 
Yes... TC the Chainpuri and Dui Chirra are Purna pieces. He is one of my two favorite Kami's. I wanted you to have a couple real gems. Purna pieces never disappoint. I think you have all Purna pieces except for your KLUVK.
You are totally right about HI, Auntie, Karda, and the rest if the family. They have always shown the utmost in consideration to everyone and anyone. HI is a unique precious gem in a world of ordinary stones.
 
My Purna dont have any Kami marks :(

Yeah lemme go look. I know i got it somewhere? Aunti said she has no more Purna DC's so im sad about that. I sure want one. Anyway she said the Bagh Bhairab is still available. I sure do like it. Its close to my grail but not sure if its there. I gotta get me a grail knife before I get a new job then my confidence will be there to get whatever job I want. No what I mean?
