Today we celebrate the 248th year of the Declaration of Independence.

The first line of the second paragraph is iconic.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—-

John Adams wanted July 2nd, the day Continental Congress voted for Independence.
The written Declaration of Independence was dated July 4th but wasn't actually signed until August 2nd.

In honor of this Independence Day I have a Buck 110 with a patriotic theme. These were a web special offering for the 4th of July, 2020. The handle is ebony and the flag theme on the blade is pad printed. (inked). I believe the issue was 750. I think there is a 119 with the same blade art but don''t remember offhand when.

I have my faded glory 525 gent in my pocket, and just now completed purchase of this SPIRIT OF AMERICA 525 that I won on ebay.

Now I just need to finally get that bald eagle 525 that I always meant to order from the SMKW catalog and I'll be all set.
