First, let me wish you all a safe and wonderful 4th of July. That out of the way, we've all heard of "barbeque guns", guns that are more then likely safe queens, but brought out and worn during special events, holidays, and friend and family gatherings; it's like the ultimate BBQ accoutrement, one to be admired and talked about, but never used. Anyway, for those who plan on or will participate in a family/friend BBQ extravaganza, how many will put their "best foot forward" and proudly wear a Becker at the event, and which one would you consider your "BBQ Knife"?:)

** Post a foto of you and your knife at the Q if you can.

Well I'll have my 24 and 11csm with me but that is only because they are almost always with me. So holiday or not, it'll be business as usual for me today.

You know there are some BH's running around about this time (Becker MidWest July 5-7) so, it looks like you'll get your answer soon enough.

Cheers to the fellas out there. Hope they have a great time.

Too bad they don't have a gathering here in Virginia, or better yet, the OBX....I would have bought/brought the kegs.

5 is a beast in the kitchen. That is my wife's. The 11 is always with me so that is my prep knife. Happy Independence Day. stay safe and have fun.

Start one up, Derek would probably jump in to help.

I'll be taking my BK9 to the river today.

Well, if there's any interest shown for such a gathering, I'd be more then happy to do the scut work. Labor Day would be a possibility. I would also suggest Bangor, Maine for the Fall Foilage Fest; I'm retired, so I can travel, and do love Maine.

Whereabouts in Virginia are you?

For me, despite my love of Beckers, the knife that rides EDC most days is my TM Hunt Magua. Since I end up giving away a lot of my knives I don't actually have a small Becker. Most EDC-able sized knife I have is the BK16, so it will remain in the pack while the Magua does work.

Norfolk friend.

I love America.

No better place in the world.

Thanks for farmers with hayforks, guerilla warfare, guys with the testicular fortitude to tell the king of England to get bent, and the sacrifices made by all those that came before us.

I love this country........

Happy Birthday America, may you have countless more.
