IG sent me a bar of some damascus he made. Like IG it was rough and definitely needed some work.In some places the twist wasn't wrapped too tight - just like IG. I took it and did some reforging, added some more twists, and shaped this up. The stag crown is one of Bill Moran's. He dyed it, I cut it and made this knife out of it. So there you have it - IG, Bill Moran, and this knife - all one of a kind.

The emblem on the handle is from an antique Prussian hunting ornament ( they were worn on the cap)

Now that was worth the price of admission!:D

Nice knife, Stacy!

Great knife Stacy!! I think you're being kind of unfair though, really -- I mean, that steel couldn't have started out as rough as George, could it?:D

Although I like many of the knives I have seen here, I really REALLY like this one, something about it inspires me. Good luck.

Wow ! That's nice work Stacy  That piece of stag is out of this world beautiful, the IG Damascus too. I really like the manner in which you used the Prussian hunting ornament in this one. Sweet piece all the way around !

See that!!!!:jerkit:You try to be a nice guy and look what happens.:confused: If I had feeling, they may of been injured by the above statements.:(:(
Nice job Stacy. Also thanks for the kind and not so kind words. You Turkeys.
HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!

Come on George, you know we lov ya. :D

I was waiting for you to chime in ,IG.
I really appreciate the piece of steel. It has a bold pattern.
I took one look at it and knew what I wanted to do with it and the piece of stag from Bill. The finished knife actually snaps open and closed, due to the tension on the stag from the pivot.I am quite pleased with it.
Take care Bro - Stacy

No problem Stacy.;):D

Absolutely artistic in all its glory. Look like it would be a collectibles knife for a showcase.:)
Great job on the craftsmanship. Was a pleasure to witness such a achievement.
