Hi, I am hoping that someone out there can give me some information on these two swords? I believe they are Indian Talwars? Both say "Made in India" on the blade. They look like replicas to me? What do you think? I suspect that they are replicas because 1) The acorn bolt nuts on the top, and 2) The words "Made in India" look printed. Would an authentic sword actually say Made in India? I picked both up for 65 bucks total at a local antique store.

Those “appear” to have been made for the tourist trade. Still I wouldn’t want to be hacked at by one! You got a deal! I’ve Resold similar ones for $100-250 depending on condition.
