Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I've got a four DVD set of the first 3 movies and a bonus disc. I am looking forward to the Crystal Skull! Indy is a lot of fun to watch. :)

The Lost Ark was a classic but I honestly felt the Last Crusade was the most compelling of them all. Even if his girlfriend was a psychotic creep.

I agree. These days the Last Crusade is the most watchable (ie my favorite).

When I first heard of #4. I shrugged it off, but now it seems this is a must see!

Indiana Jones can never be too old. The character has a wry sense of humor about himself, "It's not the years sweetheart, it's the mileage." He is fairly humble for a "superman," and he fights "dirty," (shot the swordsman in the souk, sucker punched the big Nazi aircraft mechanic.)

Colorfully complex characters like Indy are the archetype one calls to mind when reading "90 year old man beats robbery suspect senseless."

He might have a lot more miles on him, but there's always some tread left.

I heard Ford spent months training to get back into "Indy" shape and was still able to do many of his own stunts.

He was also adamant about using a real bullwhip even though the studio's insurrance lawyers forbid it. He eventually won the argument. I'll bet after practicing with that thing for the last 30 years he's probably better than the stunt coordinator. This movie should be a lot of fun to watch.

The psychotic girl from Last Crusade was certainly the hotest, but I'd have to pass because:

1. She was a Nazi... yuck
2. She slept with his father right before she slept with him... yuck

Marrion Ravenwood, from Raiders is the best Indy Girl ever (smart, fiesty, non-facist) and will be returning in Kingdom of The Crystal Skull.

So the new one is set in the 1950's. What type of handgun do you think Indy should be packin'? I'd say a nickel six inch Colt Python. Very cinematic.

I'll be there, just wish that sean connery was going to be in it, i really liked the father son vibe they had going. +1 on the ravenwood chick, very hot.

You know why Indy shot him? Take a close look- Ford's sweating like a waterfall during the shoot. He had a raging case of dysentery, and just wanted to end the scene and go rest.

I agree 100%. The chemistry was there from the second they shared the screen, when he smashes the vase over Indy's head.

Henry Jones: "...Junior?"
Indy: "Yes, sir!"

I'd heard that before, however, had the dismissive shooting not perfectly fit the character, the scene wouldn't have worked.

Looks pretty good. Looks like it has some solid '80's style effects. I can't believe it comes out in a couple months and I haven't seen a trailer yet. They start putting trailers out a year ahead of time now. Studio must not have high hopes for this one?
