Man it stormed hard around here today. Barely made it to the mailbox without a lightening bolt hammerin' some of that 'lectric laxative action up my old-and-in-the-way ass. But I wrestled the package that was in there away from it and made it back inside no worse for wear, just a bit soggy. Now I just gotta figure out how to open it. Damn! The power went out! OK, power tools are no good. Time to get back to the roots. I'm a prepper, a trained survivalist....I can figure this out.

I got it! Just finished puttin' a scary sharp edge on my 9 before the power went out. Wanna see? OK:

Yeah man, I can make some hay with her. And so the indoor bushcrafting begins....

A good hard whack to get things started....

Notice I had a good stick for batoning handy. That there is deeply ingrained survivalism my woodsy brothers. Pure bushcrafty gold. So I put it to good use:

Ah ha! What have we here?

Dang Mr. Gannon, what did you use on this box, like Kevlar tape or sumpthin'? Had to stab hard to punch through! Glad it was early in my survival mode while I still had spare calories stored up!

But me and my 9 won the battle. Peek-a-boo!

Voila! Looky there, looky there!

Ain't she a purdy little thang? She took to her big sis right away. Crap, they're like inseparable already:

Man, this indoor bushcraftin' will take it outta ya! I'm slap wore out! If I can recharge my batteries, I plan on puttin' the girls to work tomorrow on a little tree that's growin' out of a storm drain out back. I'll get some more pics of the girls workin' out. Well, since they really can't do much without my help, I'll probably have to settle for just taking pics of the aftermath, but you, my brother-indoor-bushcrafters, know what I mean, right? I'll see y'all on the flip side. I gotta get some rest now!

Grats on the 2. She's a beast, aint she. I didn't realize the 9's came with green sheaths. Mines black.

The Camillus models had green sheaths. The blade is thicker than yours too. Yours is .188", mine is .21". If I remember right, the BK2s did the exact opposite. They were thinner stock in the Camillus days, and thicker now I do believe. I might be wrong about that though. My head's in a fog after all that indoor bushcraftin'. LOL

Now I feel like a loser b/c I haven't batoned a box open. :D

Need to order something to get a box...

Nicely done!...I noticed that mr. gannon is listed as a dealer, but where does one purchase a knife from him?

Since he's a dealer, I think it's alright to add a link to his site, right? Since I'm not 100% positive about that and I don't want to get in trouble, I bet if you entered his user name (TAGannon) in your address box and added a dot com to it, you'd find it with no trouble at all. :D
