Met up with Flatlander, 1whobuys, Danbo, and another dude, I didn't hear his name (sorry man).

A lot of Busses (and some foreigners...) on the table (and some wide eyes at surrounding tables :eek:.....

Chuck was offering knives at blow-out prices (I distinctly remember a 5/16" Infi Satin Mean Street for $100), but we all were too nice of guys to take advantage of his momentary lapse of judgement....:p
He had even offered to trade me his bags o' knives even up for mine.
He had forgotten about the Wedding Knife, Arctic Team 1, Internal Affair, and the Shark Brothers in his bag.

For all of you who couldn't make it, we will have a table there at the January Show. C'mon down...
 
It's a pretty tough table when you can't sell a 5/16" Satin Mean Street for a hundred bucks to a table of Busse fans:(

I was going to try to get $250.00 for a Shark, but gave up after the MS flop:grumpy:

Wish Idaho would have been there:)
 
It was a great show and tell:eek: I hate having to turn down a deal like Chucks, even if it's for his own good. Too bad I wasn't a little faster when the deal on the Shark was discussed. You always could GIVE ME the Wedding knife to make up for it though;) Had a great time looking at all the knives I only see here in pictures. Can't wait for Jan. Going to be saving up even more $$ than I already have after seeing what's out there.

Glad you guys were able to get together. I'm already planning on the January show, pending no snow or ice storms.

Look forward to these Busse Show and Tell sessions.

BTW, Chuck I'll be packing green just in case ;)

You can always come in January though and see for yourself:D
You might even be able to snap up one of those hundred dollar specials;)

It was a once in a life time deal that stunned them and before they could figure it out I withdrew the offer.:D

I didn't let them think about it very long;)

There are no other 5/16" Satin MS's with tan handles that I know of.

it's an expensive knife:D

Thanks for the reply, it was worth a try! I've been looking for a Mean Street for awhile, and still want one, but man, first in line is the Active Duty.....
 
1whobuys was so confused yesterday (lack of sleep I think...), he wouldn't even take the Active Duty I had with me as a trade...

That was a tough table for sure....
 
Ahhhhhh. The Active Duty is soooooooo much nicer in the hands than in a picture. Thatmguy, you're still going to send that to me by the end of the week, right?:rolleyes:

Come on, tell us, when are these knives (AD) coming out? Any idea? Even a hint? A month, two, three? I have to know! Why do I feel like a kid again, waiting for Empire Strikes Back?:D

It was a lot of fun meeting with everyone at the show. I just wish I could have talked someone out of the mini Mojo or the Active Duty. :)
 
The Mini-Mojo likes the INDY show, it's been there before. I didn't have any luck bringing it home when I saw it either.

I'd love to pic one of those bad boys up :D:D

LOL...Eric, if you remember..I couldn't get "Any" of the Mojo's to go home with me.

Good thing she slipped me her number huh? ;) :p
