Im starting (already started) a knife colection and have been looking for fuel for this fire. I have checked around on this site and found the balisong forum.

I am curious to know, what is a good and inexpencive balisong thats good with beginers. When practicing I have already decided to put tape on the edge so I won't hurt myself.

I have looked at benchmade balisongs though 1sks and decided $100 and up is way to much money (remember I am only a kid and I don't have all that much money)

I went ahead and got a BM42. It is worth the investment. Other than BM's Jaguar brands are good too. Not very well made though.

Get a jaguar then move up to bm42, im in the jaguar phase. i wouldnt reccomend a bear mgc cause there are terrible in my experince jag's cost less than bears and i had a bear handle break in HALF with out an apparent reason .

Save your money and buy a Benchmade. You will never
