inexpensive 2nd folder...

I'm looking for a 2nd folder. Right now I have an 806 but looking for something the same size. What I'd like it to have is:

Strong Lock
4inch or bigger blade
no recurve
easy to replace if something happens(Like if I dropped my busse I'd have to go hunting for another one which would take a while)

Not really sure whats out there, so any suggestions?

Kabar Dozier folder for around $20 is hard to beat. Great first folder for EDC let alone second.

Any Spyderco models in FRN handles fit the bill well also. The new Centofante 4 is a great deal and you can now pick up the Spyderco Native in plain edge with CPMS30V steel at a lot of Wal-Marts for around $40.

bquinlan, No I don't think so. Good call. I missed the 4" blade part for some reason.

Knowing that now; One of the Cold Steel Voyagers in a 4" or even a 5" blade can be had cheap from various places. These are pretty good knives also but the Endura is a better steel and probably about the same price.

Endura, or a Spyderco Salt (there's an Endura-sized one) if you want a totally rustproof version.
