Hi guys, I am in the market for a new bushcraft knife. I love my mora bushcraft black and my classic mora but I'm now looking for something different. I've taken a liking to the Condor Bushlore and the Condor Nessmuk, and I would like something with that older style to it. Is there anything you guys could recommend in the about $30-60 range with a blade right around 4 inches?
Thanks!

Unfortunately if you're looking for wood-handled bushcraft knives in that price range, your options are fairly limited. The Condor knives are decent enough, though they run their steel too soft for my taste. I've heard good things about Helle knives, though most of them run about double your price range. The Helle Speider is a hair under $50, and the Helle Tollekniv is another semi-budget option at around $75. I haven't heard anything about the quality of those specific models, but I would have confidence in anything from Helle.

I like the Bushlore a lot and yes, they are a tad soft for using "hard". The price is certainly right with it and you get a great leather sheath. (You can put your BK-16 in it later if you like.) :D
The Condor Hudson Bay is a pretty cool knife. I don't do much chopping with knives, but I think the handle should be a bit thicker for chopping.
The Kephart is a bit small, just in case you are considering it. I use mine as a steak knife.
I like the Kabar Becker BK-16 for a very cost effective choice, but it is a bit "modern". It is just slightly above your budget range.
