Inexpensive Makers mark?

Sorry if this has been covered but I searched everything I could think of and found no discussion about it.

Is there an inexpensive way to put a makers mark on a blade that looks decent? Can't really spring for an etcher right now, but would like to find a way of marking my knives.

Any help or thoughts?

Thanks

Ricky

Your signature can be fancy or honest. Kind of like tinsel on a tree, has very little to do with the sincerity of Christmas.

The best investment I ever made was signed with a pencil. My cost $34.00, recently sold it for $6,000. What you have created is much more significant than your makers mark, in my humble opinion.
