INFI and squirrels

There have been pics of member's dogs with Busse knives here on BF. How about INFI and squirrels? My wife brought home a pair of 2 week old squirrels home from work a couple of weeks ago. They are a brother and sister that were evacuated from their nest during a storm. My wife is a veterinarian and we have been taking care of the squirrels for a couple of weeks now.

No corn or acorns, yet. They are on a liquid diet for now. Unfortunately we will release them when they get old enough and start to get wild. My kids will miss them, but they will get over it. It would be kinda cool to keep them as pets, but my black lab would think they are a toy, if you know what I mean. My lab and Springer Spaniel will check them out when we are feeding them but other than that they do not pay much mind to them.
 
I've never ever actually seen baby squirrels. This is a first!

I think one of them pee'd on your HG55 :eek:

They left quite a bit of a mess. The babies are on a liquid diet so they pee like mad.

This may be the first test of INFI with squirrel pee on it. Is urine exposure covered by Busse's warranty?

I heard Busse's are pickled in Scotch, a little rodent urine should be fine.

haha, not my pics, but one of the guys from the scrap yard forums went camping and left his knife in his pack outside. heard some noises outside and found squirrels going at his knife. nobody knows why, but best guest is they're attracted to the salty res-c from sweaty hands.

It depends.

Were you intentionally testing the knives to destruction via uric acid?:confused:


I went out into my woods, but I couldn't find any squirrels who would volunteer to model with any of my INFI. Very disappointing. I told them they could choose which knife ... :(
