I have, (or at least, had), these long woody weed things growing in the middle of the garden. They were buried too deep to pull out and there wasn't much room to work with so I'm thinking: How the hell do I get rid of these things?

I happened to have my AD with me so I bent the weed over and placed the blade on the stalk close to the ground, stomped on the back of the blade a couple of time and, voila, chopped off weed. Excellent.

After getting rid of about two dozen of these I washed the knife, dried it and wiped it over with a Tuff Cloth. The bloody thing still shaved hairs off my arm.
I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever have to sharpen this thing! :)

Pour a little turpentine on whats left of those roots,,,,,,they shouldn't come back
