It's funny that just as I think of this someone else has the same thought about the 'weiler, but here goes-

In fondling my meager collection, I keep noticing how much I like the feel of the Camp Tramp for an everyday camp knife (what a coincidence, huh?) so I started looking for what I had in INFI that was the closest. My FSH is bigger and much heavier, SJTAC smaller, Hell Raiser is about the same size, but completely different knife and feel in hand, so my question is: What's the INFI version of the Camp Tramp? (if there is one)

If there isn't, let's ask Jerry for one- I've heard lots of people say the Camp Tramp was their idea of the perfect knife.

I think the SH-e is probably the closest you will come to the Camp Tramp. EU-17 is a good candidate, too.

The ZTSH would be the lightest blade of that length. Mine is my personal favorite large user.

The Camp Tramp is one of my all time favorite and one of the very first that I grab when I go out hiking. I'm hoping that when I get a CG SFNO that it will have the same sort of feel to it. Until then, the quest goes on. :)

You've just sent a bunch of people into a tailspin with those Mori. I can't wait to see all the WTB threads that go up for those:D:p

Sweet looking blades though. Anyone out there got either of them?

I scored my user from Gravelface a few months ago. I needed to get that niche filled. Great knife. Definitely a go-to outdoors knife. I'm a big Res-C fan so it fit the bill quite nice along with a Dumpster Mutt LE (which I gotta get cold-blued just to make it look better) and a Battle Rat.

Even though it is Modified INFI, I would say a Basic 7 is the closest thing to a Camp Tramp.

Now, if only the Janitor would have cranked out some INFI Howlers....

INFI Howlers would be sweet. I think short of the BAIII, the howling rat in infi would be a nice Christmas present. I laid my HR up against my Tramp and they are about the same length of usable edge. The CT is noticeably thicker however.

A very nice Christmas present indeed. I would be VERY happy with either one. The old Res-c HR is in my man-purse (not as pretty as pg's) but the HRLM in dc INFI would be awesome!

Hey, Boss. Feelin' generous?? :o Maybe a little INFI for the night-shift folks to work on?

yeah, and if i remember correctly, they were both under 200.00.

HA, HA, HA!!!! That's hysterical. A guy named Stacey with a man-purse!:D:p Next thing you know you'll be wearing a dress like Progunner!;):p

Laugh it up, funny boy. Here in the Free States, we can legally carry our Glock .45 in our heavy nylon man-purse. :p

And, of course, Wrigley's Juicy Fruit and a kleenex travel pak. :D

Man, I was starting to laugh really hard....then I realized I live in California. And then it wasn't so funny.:( The truth hurts sometimes.
