The Sterile INFI Dog Soldier 8 showed up today. Feels very similar in the hand to a Basic 8.
The INFI dog Soldier 6 weighs 11.1 ounces, the INFI dog Soldier 8 weighs 12.7 ounces and the Basic 8 weighs 12.8 ounces. Very nice handling and should be a real winner with use.

Ha nice! And to think I passed on that 1 bc I thought it be more difficult to find a sheath lol... not so haha.... nice looking work!:thumbsup:

I really dig the sterile - it's strange not seeing the logo in a cool way like- if you have to ask who made this knife it wouldn't make any difference if you knew.
So, I'm imaging this one @.350 thick, long straight clip point..... Oh yeah I dig it!

Grrrrrr...looks like the perfect infi blade (missed at 4 freekin seconds past 9)...congrats on the score and blank for making sheaths for the other fortunate HOGS

How did I miss theDS8????? When we're those offered
a couple weeks ago I think, a day i'm trying to forget.....Either way this blade should be a regular offering for the user crowd. This blade is obviously popular (sold out within 4 seconds ) and makes happy customers....Can't wait to see this blade sitting in the Scrapyard, while Busse keeps pushing out weekly blades!!:thumbsup:

Got to process some campfire wood with the DS8 today. Very impressed. Did some light chopping on twigs and used the dead blow hammer to baton
some firewood. Nicely balanced and felt good in the swing. Did touch up the edge first with a ceramic stick and leather strop.
The coating is thin and showed a bit or wear after the wood process but I like it as it seems offer little resistance and I prefer the coating over thicker crinkle coatings.
A big thumbs up for the DS8 so far. Going to give it a little treatment on the wicked edge next and see how it comes out.

Very nice. Looks like a great chopper. How can I get my hands on that holster in black and another for the regular Dog Soldier? I really like the way your holsters look.

Washed and cleaned the wood debris from the blade and an up close pic of the coating wear after it's first use.
Looks like a Comp Finish version of the INFI Dog Soldier 8 will be available this Wednesday, with a choice of black or tan Res-C. Outstanding knife.
