So we went out fishing on Strawberry reservoir in Uinta mountains (Utah).

Last time we were there we caught some monster cut throats.

This year we only landed a small rainbow trout.

Also, I picked up a new bag.

Basic 11 peaking out of the gun pocket. It is actually held in place with a velcro set up.

Fishing buddies (it is the little one's first time)

all we caught (only fished for 2 hours). We finally found a spot they were biting, and had to pull out right then. I had one nibbling, so did the wife, and the Brother in law had one almost in the boat but it spit out the hook before we could net it.

Great pics brother! Looks like a great time by all:cool::thumbup:

This is what we pulled out last time we went there. Pretty country. Wish I lived there. Just visiting from Washington. I lived here for about 7 years or so I think, but that was 5 years ago.

Good times. :thumbup::thumbup:

Nice pics and sweet bag. I'm guessing B-day present?

Those times with the kids are priceless, always to be remembered. :D:thumbup:

Great bag and great knives. I've fished the Strawberry many times in my life, starting when I was about 4 years old -- about like your fishing buddies, but not as good looking!

Thanks for reporting on such a great outing.

Great pictures, great family, looks like you all had an awesome time. It's what it's all about!

Yup. I have been meaning to pick one up for a while. My old bag that I use for court when I don't have a really big docket is wearing out. This will take that place now.

Just realized one of the pics did not show up.

just to give some size to the little guy I caught. I guess this puts him about 12 inches or tiny bit more.

Ha, at first I thought you were going to be fishing with a BM as a jigging stick

Definitely a beautiful spot to escape to, even better when you can do it with the family.:thumbup:

Thanks for sharing

Looks like a great time. Wish I had a place around here that beautiful to get away to with the family.

Garth

P.S. What kind of watch are you wearing? It looks like a Tag.

Old Citizen ProMaster. I have had it for 10 years. It has been through some stuff. On the 2nd crystal face, just replaced some pins that actually wore through. Did not catch on anything, but plain wore through.

It has been snorkeling and surfing in Hawaii, body surfing in Mexico, heck, even been swimming on Fanning Island, down by the equator.

Only wish I was an ecodrive. I keep saying I am going to buy one, and just keep waiting for this one to break.

It was an engagement present from my Wife.
