I was appreciating my Jungle Shadow HOGFSH this evening, allowing it to rest in my lap while perusing the forum. I felt a 'movement' of the blade... and this is what I saw - My 1 year old GSD/Mix rescue female trying to make off with the INFI!!!!!

Bless her! She was licking the handle, must need some salt... :D
I better take her to the Doggy Dentist, make sure that she didn't chip a tooth!

Thankfully, my *lap* is secure! I caught her before she had a good grip on it!

Man, can't trust the dog? Who can you trust? And the worst part was... I thought I heard a muttered 'The Preciousssssssss' just before the 'tug'...

Doc - Where were you tonight???!!!???? :D

Nice member of the family!

Better keep a good watch on the rest of your INFI.

It's a sign man. The Hogs have had their day in the sun now the Dogs want to be noticed. BRING ON THE SCRAP YARDS!!!

It's telepathy; I sent her a signal to bring me the infi in return for a large dog biscuit.

Well, she got it - get that biscuit ready!!!!

She was getting a little too close to the pointy end, so I had to take it away from her (well, that, and I thought she was about to throw it at me:eek: )

After I took it away from her, she seemed to take it in stride... or, do I see the gleam of INFI in her eyes?????? Looks like Snake, or Tiger?!?! Man, this is going to get expensive!!!! That Dog is going to have to get a job!!!!

That's a cute girl, Rat. Don't let her get near any res-c... with that gleam in her eye, it won't last long!!

Is this the Jungle Camo HOFSH that used to be mine ?? Why did you have to remind me  ?? ;) BTW, I hope that dog didn't catch it in mid air :D OUCH!

I assure you guys, no animal was injured in the making of these photos.... :D  Well, only me...

She is a cutie, makes me crazy sometimes, as she is extremely smart, and very dominant. My wife and kid had a hard time with her for about 8 months, while she was big enough to be a nuisance, and fast enough to get away... Thankfully, she is coming out of puppy-hood, and is getting more settled each day.

I wouldn't trade her for a CGFBM, maybe a SH1, well... shoot... maybe... dangit, well... But I'd miss her! :D

She did take to the INFI like a dog possessed, this INFIitis is contagious, and is crossing from human to hound... Thankfully, the Cat seems immune - that would be catastrophic - if the declawed feline discovered the INFI - Me *and* the dog would be in *serious* trouble!!!

Yeppers, Greens, that's the one - sorry if I caused issues for ya - know it's being enjoyed and appreciated by the whole family... ;)

And I agree about the ban on resiprene-C, she is a threat to my kydex sheaths, as well. Those choppers of hers are mean! I think they are about Rc-65...

Well, she's begging for more, maybe I'll buy her her own INFI to chew on... who knows.... :D

Maybe you're on to something... Jerry could make Infi shaped bones for dogs. The undestructable chew toy.. My German Sheperd use to go through chew toys like a buzz saw. It would be nice to have found one that would have lasted for a while:D

How about INFI-implants for guard dogs?!?! That would ruin a practice attack sleeve!!!

And  good  karma on you for the rescue!

Thanks!

And, like I said, there have been some challenges... she is a fear-barker. But I really don't know what she went through before I got her, so I just remember that she didn't always know she is safe...

She is very 'reactive', but has a really cool ability to 'memorize' the neighborhood, and see something new. If a new car is parked on the cul-de-sac, or bulk trash is placed on the curb, or if a punk is taking a short-cut in the dark between houses, she sees it before I do at night... and I seriously *DIG* that...

So I put up with the barking (she is getting better) to get her focus on her surroundings. I'm learning from her, and she is a hoot to watch with the cat. I'll have to get and upload a short video clip of her 'herding the cat' - reminds me of a Circus Ringmaster training the Tigers, in reverse.... :D

As long as the Cat is immune from the INFI, I'll be able to post... :o
