It is real, they didn't have talon holes. Hard to say what it is worth, my guess is $275 - $350?

A pic would be helpful. but, IIRC, if all holes are the same size, it's most likely A2 steel. However, don't quote me. It might be worth waiting to hear from someone with more experience with these than me...which is most everyone else! ...As for value, I don't really know.

That fourth hole, the one nearest the butt of the knife, is it a lot smaller than the other three?

All four holes are the exact same size.

The only four-hole pattern with which I am familiar is this one:

The ones with the larger middle hole are all INFI.
The smaller handle model with the three, same size holes are the Combat Recruit (A2 steel)

Just remember, big hole = INFI:thumbup:

I've seen one like your describing, but I cant remember for the life of me what generation it was. Each run seems to have something different about it. Mine has the small lanyard hole like the swedged one in rbmcmjr's post and is A2. I've had two other PR's, one INFI and one with micarta handles from the shop (lil smokey? dunno) I wish I could find the pics.
