*** Infi Question ***

Wondered if anyone could tell me what stainless steel would INFI steel be most similar to ? Ok... D2 or even Ats34 ( checked the homepage )

I especially like the 'Tank Buster' design, but my knife usage would include wet and in the water environments ( fresh as well as salt water ). The exposed edge, I believe, would then cause trouble.

Any thoughts or ideas ?

Also, anychance of an option allowing the standard models being out of stainless steel while still keeping the same prices as INFI ( directed at Mr. Busse, I guess )

INFI is very corrosion resistant. There are those around here that use their Busses in salty and wet environments with no problems. I have personally had my knoves wet for days to weeks at a time with no ill effects.
 
I was talking trash to the safe queens that might be lurking, my knives gets beat regularly, ok the SH doesn't, but that's only cause my BA hasn't run into anything it couldn't handle yet..
