dang...both would be awesome - love that saber grind and combo on that reg you got.

Also - INFI M9 would be shiz.

Im with you Warder! Or maybe a FFG but keep the front of the spine nice and aggressive. I like the half circle choil too. Dare I say Nuke it? But don't release it for a while haha. oh man....I need to sell some knaffs :"(.

I was blown away when I got this one, it was so much bigger than I expected...but in a good way ;'P.

I loves me some INFI and Res-C, but I sold off the knives I had with the regulator handles because of what I felt was a slight "miss" in the design. Before they do another run of Regulator handles, I'd like to see them grind the Res-C out just a little more behind the guard and change the angle of the tang slightly so the blades run in a straighter line coming from the front of the guard. Right now, they look a little "upswept" to my eye. I'd love to see a Regulator Gen2 handle the overall blade angle slightly dropped (point of blade to red dot and front guard area like TGLB and Lg Res-C handles)...

Yeah, the FFG one has since moved on, but the saber ground one is still with me. It’s a keeper for sure. I’d keep em all if I could.

That reg looks great.

New Busse is able to release a lot of knife models which is great, but I miss Old Busse with custom shop mods, zero edge convex grinds, multi-color canvas and linen micartas, and non magnum handles.

It would be crazy cool to see a Reg with the entire spine and clip nuked

I agree completely regarding the handle and have had the similar thoughts. I think your suggestion would make it a complete home run. It would allow you to comfortably hold the knife closer to the guard and balance point for fine knife work and fast maneuvering of the position of the blade, or slide your hand down to a more hand filling grip for maximum power and reach.

The slight drop on the point makes a lot of sense as well.

And then there's a question of which Regulator style?

Were there just the two styles that you posted earlier? I completely missed out on the Regulators (is there also a DeRegulator????) so I'm a little out of the loop, but would sure like to try one of those full-height grind models.

Yup...a brief overview of the model would include:
* the original Regulator...coated hollow ground blade with semi-circular choil
*American Regulator <AR>...FFG & squared off choil as on most SYKCO's
*Test Team Regulator...same as AR with main difference being the TT's thicker bladestock
*Parkerized Regulator...same as original but with non-painted Parkerized finish and wider variety of ResC colors
*DeRegulator...same as original but with top guard bobbed.

I think that hits most of the highlights...I think.

Thank you!! It looks like the American Regulator is the one I'm most after. Just love the look of that knife
