...getting dusty and bored! I have been in Mexico for a few weeks and am flying back to SoCal before going home. There is no knife in my truck and I have decided to camp a couple of nights on the drive back home to NorCal. Lexi to the rescue! My BIG NMFSH was shipped to my pops' house down south and shiny new Mashed Cat pants are waiting there now too. But it's all just stacked on some table, packaged up, and knowing that is starting to give me the INFI shakes!

Fresh INFI just sitting there! :grumpy:

INFI Shakes, the toughest frozen beverage ever... and destroys blenders!

Seriouly though, I am sure you will njoy the NMFSH when you get to use her.

Blenders beware.

Yeah, it will be my 2nd NMFSH user and I would have probably just stuck to one user if I hadn't forgotten to put that one in my ride. Oh well. BIG NMFSH will be cool to try out and compare against coated.

Hah, all things considered, I guess it's best to look on the bright side: it is there waiting!

I've seen a few guys here write that they were out of town/state/country and had stuff waiting back home. I guess I can finally identify. :D

Oh yea it sucks being away from your INFI! But overall it is a great problem to have

I remember rescuing my SHBA from a safe not even a month before moving to Mexico for what ended up being a 2 year stretch, and it sucked having to leave it behind (for fear of losing it to Federales). Every visit home I'd pull it out and enjoy it, and now that I'm back, it's always nearby....luckily INFI doesn't seem to age so it's all good when you finally do get back home.

You're hardcore bro! But I know I would have done the same thing if funds allowed me to do it...wouldn't be a very happy camper without at least one Busse to keep me company...

Enjoy your new NMFSH!

Hah. Fear of losing one to Federales was definitely a concern, hence no INFI down here. You know what I'm talking about! 2 years? Nice. Where were you? I've been in Oaxaca City for 3 weeks and it is going to be sad to go. This area is incredible.

It really is funny how upon returning home, just handling a favorite blade or getting in the woods can be so comforting

I was in a small beach village in the state of Nayarit, about an hour north of Puero Vallarta- San Francisco, aka San Pancho...awesome little magical town where the jungle meets the beach. It's just north of Sayulita, but way more mellow than that party town (for now at least).

I hear great things about Oaxaca and Oaxaca City. My future will most likely involve a life bouncing between the US and Mexico....I look forward to getting to know Oaxaca and Southern Mexico in the coming years :)

Glad you've been enjoying yourself down there! It's such a great country and there's a LOT to love about it. Bummer the cartels have their presence but as far as I'm concerned Mexico is still worth visiting and enjoying, and it can be done safely :)

You're totally right about the comfort that comes when you finally do pick up a beloved blade and venture into your local woods....it feels more comforting than flying into LAX, that's for sure!
