Has Jerry ever made a knife with the handle made into it?
I realize thicker stock is needed but your machining one
end anyway. Optimally placed holes wouldnt weaken the
blade. Though would make a great place to wrap cord
An Anodized, Striped, Solid handled BUSSE, would be
something to see.!!:D:D

aside from those that simply don't have scales, this is the closest I've seen to what your talking about, and even then it's not quite the same. These are the recent busse daggers that have sort-of integral bolsters. So far the thickest INFI I've seen is .400" thick, not quite thick enough for a full grip.

I love that integral dagger- anyone know if that is something the custom shop has blanks of? Anyone have one made from the CS or was that only available during that Blade show several years ago? I am guessing no, but I sure love that design. Not saying it is the most original even, but there is something about that blade that just calls to me every time I see it (via pics of course). IIRC I remember only seeing one of them for sale in the past year on the Xchnge.

$247 sounds about right to me, let's get 'em done Boss Man!

For the daggers, 497 sounds closer to what a cg would be. For an integral-infi-scaled knife, the price may be much, much higher. A plate of .75" thick INFI would probably be really, really expensive.

Unless they are unusually hard to produce Id think/hope it may be a little less. A few CG/Canvas Gladius were marked $612 direct this year at blade. Dont know the specs on the dagger but Im pretty sure they are quite smaller in comparison.

you have to take into account the amount of machining required for an integral dagger, the fitting of the scales (which would need to be more precise due to having to fit into the handle, as opposed to on top of it). I was wishfully dreaming when I said $247, unless Jerry wants to be very generous

They are harder to produce because of the integral handle cutout, the thicker stock thickness (and resultant loss of material), the scale pattern/fitting, and the dagger blade profile. The thickness of the stock they use is roughtly equivelant to the Off Duty's (possibly thicker), and those go for pretty high prices.

regarding off duty original price:
They are primarily "Knife Show" knives since their debut at Blade East 2003. However I honestly don't know if they are available for general order, can't hurt to call the shop and find out.

Standard price is $467
