In short, yes.

INFI is pretty much Busse Combats product.
Check out their website they talk all about it.
Direct quote from their website "INFI is a proprietary steel and heat-treat protocol developed by Busse Combat Knife Co. It is ONLY available through Busse Combat."
 
There were some made out of A2 if I am not mistaken but I think that currently all of them are made with INFI. More experienced hogs will probably provide more details. Besides you can check there: http://www.bussecollector.com/catalog/ if you need some info on a specific model.
