Infi steel

I think you're in the wrong section of the forum.

Maybe you could ask a mod to move it to a more appropriate area, where you may get more answers and opinions.

Yes the steel is durable, and used in high quality knives that can withstand repeated use while performing demanding tasks.

Simple answer is "yes", proven over and over. It is not the best at everything but will do everything well. It comes into it's own when the task is tough and the knife needs to survive.

Beyond that if you search in this forum you will find many threads unpacking it for you.

Welcome to the madness !

Is infi steel really durable can someone explain it to me
INFI is among the very toughest of knife steel, if not the toughest. It is also nearly stainless. For an outdoors type of heavy duty knife. I would say those are two very important steel characteristics.
