My TGLB recently ran into some barbed wire that was hidden in the scrub I was hacking at.

The fence didn't fair so well from the glancing blow. It's hard to tell, but the metal peeled back a good amount when the blade finally bit in.



The blade ended up with a tiny chip, and a small amount of rolling. Again, hard to tell (damn iPhone in low light).



10 minutes on the DMT and it's right as rain!

I've seen other posts with INFI pushed a little past its capabilities... Do you guys have any "whoopsies", intentional or not?
 
There have been lots of stories. Hopefully some of them will be shared again so the new guys can enjoy. Oge had a whoops that went though an entire car. :eek: :thumbup:
 
I chipped the edge on my NMFSHCG. Just a tiny chip, but I haven't sharpened it out yet. Honestly I have no idea how I got it. I buttoned it thru some hedge logs. But as hard as I was driving it I'm impressed. No steel is unbreakable but Infi is tough and resist chipping as good as any.
 
The chain story is still my favorite. INFI is amazing steel and I cant even begin to retell all of the accounts that people have went in stating the things they have done with their knives. Cars, boats, chains, airplanes, concrete walls etc, etc, etc.

INFI has been there and done that and comes out smiling and asking for more.

Some where there is a thread detailing someone dismantling a car with one, punching holes through the roof, hood, doors, and actually cutting the roof off I believe. But the chain is my favorite as well.

Yeah I think that was Oges thread but I cant seem to find it at the moment.

Orderd my first Busse yesterday.I'm looking foreward to trying out the INFI. got a mean street on the way
 
No thanks. I will have to beat it like a red headed step child. Im looking foreward to comparing it to my survive knives edc4
